In the Northern Yukon, this ancient ivory is unearthed purely by chance and luck as miners dig foundations and cold cellars.

No animal is killed for this, as they are already extinct and the ivory is perfectly legal to trade. Aryn Bowers, the jeweller behind these works of art, has inlaid several different gems in his pieces like Turquoise, Sugilite, Lapis Lazuli and Malachite. Each piece is also signed. I have a lovely collection of Bowers' work that I know won't stay in stock for long.
