After 13 years, its time to hang up the hangers & shut the closet door at Think Twice.
Nancy & Mac are retiring, Elizabeth has finally convinced her husband to retire and travel more, and Michele is looking to find and decorate a new family home.
Until our building is sold, however, it's business as usual. We are fully stocked for the summer season with both brand new and "pre-loved" merchandise. Select items are marked down 25%, and our line of "private label "handbags are now reduced by 50%.
When we opened in February 1997, our mission was to present top quality merchandise in a boutique style atmosphere with personalized, friendly service – and that has never changed. We have long established relationships with manufacturers who consign "samples" – plus out of town shops that consign their previous seasons new apparel (which we discount to our lowest prices). We have included many labels over the years, from Chanel and Louis Vuitton to Talbots, Holts, Banana Republic and many more – all offered at 1/2 to 1/3 of retail pricing. We have also been featured in several major Toronto newspapers. The Mississauga News awarded us "Best Consignment Shop" on 2 occasions, and we appeared on both CityTV's "CityLine" & Rogers Television. Toronto Life Magazine also featured us in their "Where to Get Stuff Cheap" edition on several occasions.
We are very proud of all these accomplishments. However, the biggest accomplishment of all is the number of friendships we've made over the years. If you've never been into Think Twice, drop by for a unique shopping experience.
To all of our friends & neighbours who have in the past and who continue to support us – we say thank you for 13 years of doing business in the heart of Clarkson Village.
We look forward to seeing & serving you very soon – before our doors finally close forever.
THINK TWICE Inc. (A Unique Consignment Shop) is located at 1679 Lakeshore Road West (4 km's west of Mississauga Road, between Meadow Wood & Clarkson Road North). Visit our website at www.thinktwiceinc.net for up to the minute info on newest arrivals, or call (905) 823-2233 for more information. Shop hours are Tuesday to Saturday from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Closed Sunday & Monday. Free parking behind our building. |

The kids will be out of school in just a few weeks, and that means families are planning summer vacations. My childhood friend calledme the other day to say that she found out it was less expensive to rent a villa in the south of France than to rent a cottage in Muskoka, and booked airfare for their European vacation – Canadians are drawn to summer in Europe.
Italy and the south of France remain hot spots this year. For those of you who have experienced Europe before, and prefer a "go as you please" holiday, a villa and car rental vacation are just what the doctor ordered. You accept the challenge of researching and planning your own itinerary down to the finest detail, so that everyone gets something off their wish list. For those of you who are first timers, you may want to consider an escorted tour to alleviate braving a new country's languages, laws and customs while still trying to have fun. In either case, Chadwick's Travel can offer assistance in building an itinerary to suit your needs.
There are some advantages to taking an escorted tour. Dad doesn't have to do all the driving, mom doesn't have to do all the cooking and the kids are happy unveiling their new adventure. You can relax, knowing you'll be staying in comfortable accommodations, not having to make dinner reservations and visiting many sites and attractions. Tour directors will guide you through your itinerary, offering expert knowledge and practical experience as you go. Get a feel for where you're at in a way no tour booking could present it. Learn what the locals know, relax and enjoy the stress free environment. Never have to worry about learning to drive on the wrong side of the road or wandering off the beaten track. Meet new faces and form long lasting new friendships – and all at great value. Trafalgar Tours, Insight Vacations and Globus all offer some awesome family itineraries with activities geared toward family time. It's definitely worth looking into.
On that note, we've had a number of clients (old and new) inquire as to whetheroeople have been booking independently on line, and if it's been tough on our business. First, let me thank you for your concern. Those of you who have been long time clients of Chadwick's Travel appreciate what we do for you that your computer cannot. Bruce and I provide a service that we're proud of.
We take our time to prevent you from wasting yours in planning your well earned travels. We know the ins and outs of the industry and provide you with options, and then work with you to decide which option works best for you. We've traveled ourselves, so we can give you unbiased information that a faceless corporation can't provide. We can recommend restaurants, excursions and activities and tailor your travels to suit you and your needs. Chadwick's Travel offers one stop shopping.
We will arrange not only your air and hotel/cruise accommodation but also your airport transfers, luggage tags, lounge access, visas (if required) and more, and we keep taking care of you while you're away. In the event of an unfortunate mishap, we'll work on your behalf to get resolution to your situation. We have years of long-standing relationships with preferred suppliers so we can share the best deals, saving you money. We take care of you and we're happy to do it. Please come by and see us – we'd love to help plan our next vacation. Don't forget that we'll be here popping popcorn and pouring lemonade for the Strawberries in Bloom festival on Saturday, June 12 in the Clarkson Village. Come out for the fun.
